Visions of Shalom
For nearly a decade, Center for Transforming Communities (CTC) has engaged with neighborhood leaders through a program called Communities of Shalom. Communities of Shalom connects neighbors, encourages them to share their gifts with each other, invites them to learn together and make plans for their neighborhood, and mobilizes them to take action.
Over the years, photographers have helped CTC document the incredible work taking place in neighborhoods throughout Memphis. In early 2018, with the support of the TN Arts Commission, CTC celebrated their contributions through a special gathering - a photography exhibition called "Visions of Shalom."
