Meet CTC's Board of Directors - New Members

Editors note: In the spring of 2018, three new board members joined the CTC team. Each brings experience and connections as accomplished leaders in their respective industries. They each will greatly enhance CTC's ability to achieve the vision that every Memphis neighborhood be a place that anyone would gladly call home. Please join us in welcoming Cynthia, Sarah and Eureka!

Cynthia Allen is the Community Involvement Manager for Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation. She has been with Baptist Memorial Health Care for almost 15 years. As a graduate of Christian Brothers University, Cynthia has been recognized among Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 and Memphis Woman Magazine’s 50 Women in Memphis Who Make a Difference. Cynthia is an alum of Leadership Memphis Executive Program Class of 2018 and Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship Leadership Academy Class of 2018. Cynthia looks forward to each day as a new possibility and is a proud mom of two children!

Sarah Farrell began her career in philanthropy at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis in donor relations. After almost five years with the Community Foundation, she joined FedEx where she has been for 12 years. Currently, Sarah is on the FedEx Cares team and manages the global citizenship campaign and enterprise-wide volunteer strategy. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BBA in Marketing and a minor in Nonprofit Management. Sarah lives in Memphis with her husband, Patrick, and her two dogs, Crosby and Daisy, and in her spare time she enjoys a good meal and cheering for the Memphis Tigers.

Eureka Pickett is a Quality Assurance Supervisor at DuPont Nutrition & Health, a soy ingredient manufacturer. Eureka earned a Green Belt award that represents accomplishments in leading improvement projects and is also DuPont N & H Core Values Rewards and Recognition Honoree, where she was selected by her peers for exemplifying the highest ethical behavior. Eureka’s love for the life sciences prompted her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lincoln University and a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Iowa State University. Eureka is an active member in the South Memphis Shalom Zone and proud to be involved in her neighborhood.
