COVID Update

COVID-19 Public Statement (Update: May 29, 2020)

To our community residents, partners and other stakeholders,

The Center for Transforming Communities continues to monitor the situation and plans to move at the speed of trust with our processes and policies around COVID-19.

Staff and The Commons Building:

As of May 29, 2020, all CTC staff will continue teleworking during weekdays. The Commons on Merton Building will continue to have limited access during weekdays and weekends. Disinfectant and hand sanitizer have been made available in all facilities for those who are visiting the building. Other measures, such as the provision of masks and hand sanitizing stations, are currently underway.

The Commons Building Partners are to use their discretion in continuing their operations, given the CDC guidelines. For events scheduled during this time, please contact Adam Nelson at adam@ctcmidsouth.org for rescheduling.

Community Events and Meetings:

All CTC-led events and meetings for the month of June will be held virtual. Pending updates from the city and community residents, we will update our policies on July 1st.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 spread and will share updates as they are available. For any pressing issues or concerns, please contact the CTC staff via email. For more information about COVID-19 in Shelby County, please visit shelbytnhealth.com.
